Global Warming (Social Issue)
Do you know what Global Warming is??? It's when the Earth's atmostphere is covered by thick green house gases, then the Sun's heat will be trapped in the atmophere. The Earth's temperature is increasing but people are not really doing anything. People are not doing anything because they are going to die anyways so what is the point....? Well the next generation got a life ahead of them but the people who doesn't care are cutting the years one by one. You can make @ least a little change to your life to save the world. You can: -Ride buses and throw away the cars. -RECYCLE!!!!!!!!! Well that's all I can think of but...... I bet you can think of more things...

Yes And imagine that bad air... in summer these days, people have trouble breathing because of smog, and imagine what will happen in ten years! We might need gas masks and we might have to put a dome around our whole city!!!

Throw away cars? I'd like to see you try. Compressing those things would probably cause a huge amount of pollution. Just take small steps. Recycle and stuff.

Fine I won't try to throw away cars BUT why don't you try taking action and not litter. I 've seen you litter don't try getting away with it!!!!!

Please share this Global Warming personal action item with high school students and teachers! Want to save the planet? Win money for college? Meet people from around the world? Work on a cool project? The Global Challenge is looking for a high school student who is interested in helping save the planet from global warming and learning more about science, technology, engineering and mathematics while working with an international team using advanced technologies. This is a great after-school, independent study or curriculum enhancement project! You find one other student to work with and an adult of your choosing (parent, community member, teacher, older friend). All three people must register on the web site. The Global Challenge will help your team find a similar team from one of 50 other countries (e.g. China, Korea, India, Nigeria, Mexico, etc.) and will help support the team in making weekly progress from Nov until May. You should plan to spend 1 to 2 hours per week in order to be competitive. Put yourself on their GlobeNet map!
